Research

Tasked with the goal of finding out more about users experiences booking flights, I interviewed 3 people who had booked flights in the last year. I quickly learned from the users that while they didn't have a lot of complaints about what currently existed, their main concerns were reliability, convieniece, and ease of work.

Sketching

After reviewing what I learned from users about their experience booking flights, I begin to sketch out what a flight booking tool that catered to the users expressed needs could look like.

Wireframes

After drawing out what the website could look like, I digitized my sketches to create a better sense of how this website might look.

Revised Wireframes

After receiving feedback, I revised my wireframes.

Usability Test

Once I created a proytotype, I was able to go back to users and have them test it out. From the test, I sought out to:

  • Test the ease of booking a flight through "straightbooking.com"
  • Determine holes and missing elements in the flight booking process.
  • Find ways to improve the overall user experience on straightbooking.com.

I performed 4 usability test, and came up with 4 recommendations for changes, based on what I learned.
